Background
In 2019, we accepted an invitation from MOLA Architecture to design Google’s newly established headquarters in The Hub building in Warsaw. We were tasked with arranging workspaces for 1,250 individuals across 14 floors, complemented by an array of accompanying functions. The project’s goal was to seamlessly blend comfort, functionality, and environmental consciousness. This required a user-centric, adaptable, and flexible spatial design approach, with a paramount emphasis on the ethos of Google’s culture as well as individual needs.
Challenge
Google defies norms, setting the bar high for innovation in brand, operations, and presence. Our challenge was to ensure that their offices embody the same pioneering spirit. We aimed to create a future-proof, hospitality inspired workplace that reflects the company’s ethos.
Approach
Through agility and open dialogue, we supported our stakeholders throughout each project phase. A comprehensive BIM model facilitated our smooth collaboration with engineers and consultants. Understanding the local market and regulations contributed to the timely completion of the investment.
Synergy between a well-balanced life and a flourishing business happens through functional, resilient workspaces.
From a far-sighted vision to a real place that supports holistic wellbeing.
The Warsaw Google Hub resonates with its users, seamlessly merging creativity and sociability. Equipped with a wellness zone, gym, library, restaurant, café and game rooms, it is more than just a workspace — it encapsulates the full Google experience.
